Our cushy, hooked cotton area rugs are hand hooked with twisted yarns, giving them a "springy" looped construction guaranteed to put a little bounce in your step. Each rug is finished with a cotton canvas backing, attached with latex. To ensure safety and prevent slipping, we recommend you use a Rug Pad with all rugs, regardless of the type of flooring they are used on. Regular vacuuming and the occasional gentle shake should keep your rug in shipshape condition, though hooked area rugs may require occasional minor grooming to stay looking their best. From time to time, as a hooked rug settles, a stray loop of yarn may pop up. This is perfectly normal. Do not pull the loop; simply trim it with scissors.
